Diana Santa Maria
Founder of Family Nutrition Center
Registered and licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, MS,RDN,LDN
Diana joined the Family Nutrition Center of South Florida (FNCSF) with over a decade of experience as a clinical dietitian/nutritionist and a personal chef. She graduated with her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University. She has experience in both clinical and long-term care dietetics. Her specialty is weight loss, diabetes, and kidney disease. Diana is passionate about both the education element of nutrition as well as the culinary components to ensure that patients have an all-encompassing road map to staying healthy.
In addition to FNCSF she also works as an onsite dietitian for a kidney care center. Diana has extensive experience with monitoring nutritional status, evaluating labs, and patients adherence to diet. Diana also provides bilingual nutrition education and counseling in English and Spanish to patients and their family to help reach nutritional goals.
In all her roles, Diana prides herself in providing excellent customer service and person-centered patient care. She is a member of the National Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is actively involved in the Broward Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
