Lucille Beseler is a registered and licensed dietitian/nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, author, speaker and entrepreneur. She is president and owner of the Family Nutrition Center of South Florida (FNC). Established in 1991, it was one of the first nutrition practices pioneering insurance coverage for nutrition services. Under the direction of Lucille Beseler, Family Nutrition Center has developed into a comprehensive practice providing a variety of nutrition services in multiple locations. Since its inception, the Family Nutrition Center of South Florida has seen over 300,000 children and adults for nutrition evaluation and care.

As an author her book Nurturing with Nutrition everything you need to know about feeding infants and toddlers receives high praise from physicians and families alike.

Beseler is a graduate of Queens College – City University of New York and earned a Master of Science degree from New York University.

Recognition

Lucille Beseler is a sought after motivational speaker who has spoken to small audiences as well as groups of over 11,000. She has an upbeat, fun, and passionate style that audiences embrace. Beseler was the 91st President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics representing 100,000 nutrition professionals. Her statement – “Nutrition is a Science, Nutrition is not a Fad” has highlighted the importance of the science of nutrition in transforming health.

Recently, she was invited to speak at the International Day of Women and Girls in Science commemoration at the United Nations in New York on February 10, 2017. She spoke about the Academy’s history, Second Century, the future of the dietetics profession and the future of women in STEM fields.

Lucille rang the opening bell at NASDAQ

On February 16, 2017, Lucille spoke at the NASDAQ and rang the opening bell. Her passionate speech highlighted the work of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics over the last 100 years. “Nutrition and all its related issues are at the center of our public conversation. From helping individual patients in clinical settings to creating national health policies that affect millions, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics members stay on the cutting edge of nutrition science, information and research.”
